Supporting British Columbia Wildfire Relief Efforts at Ricky’s BC Locations

From August 2 to 7, all Ricky’s locations in British Columbia, including Ricky’s All Day Grill, Ricky’s Cafe and Ricky’s Country, will be donating $2 from the sale of any Eggs Benny to the Canadian Red Cross, to support the BC Wildfire relief efforts.

“We believe in supporting the communities our guests, employees, family and friends work and live in, along with the brave members of the firefighters and first responders teams,” says Stacey Hansson, senior vice-president of Ricky’s Group of Family-style Restaurants. “When we reached out to our BC franchisees they were all adamant in the decision to provide support.”

The Canadian Red Cross is supporting the province of British Columbia and local authorities in providing assistance to those affected by the wildfires. Donations will help provide immediate relief such as cots, blankets, family reunification and financial assistance for food, clothing and personal needs. Beyond meeting immediate needs, donations may also help re-entry and go towards more long-term recovery, resiliency and preparedness*.
