DermaEnvy Skincare franchisee receives top honours at Canadian Franchise Association conference
DermaEnvy Skincare, an industry leading laser, skincare and medical aesthetics franchise in Canada is excited to announce that twenty four year old franchisee, Alicia Baker of DermaEnvy Skincare St.John’s NL won Gold in the traditional franchise (bricks and mortar) category for 2024 Franchisee of the Year.
The Canadian Franchise Association (CFA) Franchisee of the Year Award recognizes top-performing franchisees for their unique accomplishments and excellence in business performance, community service, and brand involvement. The award was presented at CFA National Convention Awards Gala held April 8th in Montreal, Quebec.
Baker, who won the award on the eve of her twenty-fifth birthday and third anniversary of operating her DermaEnvy Skincare franchise in St. John’s, NL. “It’s a true testament that you can be successful in business and entrepreneurship and franchising no matter who you are, where you come from or how young you are” she told the crowd of industry members in her acceptance speech
Baker thanked her biggest supporters “my former boss who is now my franchisor as well as a mentor and true friend, none of my success would be possible without your unwavering support. Thank you to my dad who raised me on his own and taught me such a strong work ethic and that you can do anything you set your mind to and her boyfriend for the continued support.”

This award achievement marks a milestone for the growing brand of eleven medical aesthetic clinics, ten across Atlantic Canada and 1 in Southeastern Ontario based in Halifax. “As we look to the future, we’re excited to build on this success and continue to innovate, grow the brand across Canada” said MacInnis.
In addition to 2024 Franchisee of the Year, the brand was also the recipient of a Canadian Franchise Association Membership Milestone award for five consecutive years of growth and demonstrating dedication to franchise industry excellence in Canada
