SMOKE’S LEGO CABIN, CANADA (August 20, 2024) – Hey Poutine lovers and Rock n’ Roll enthusiasts, it’s Smoke with some most triumphant news!!! The date, Saturday August 10, 2024…what a day, what a night! Smoke-A-Palooza 2024 hit downtown Toronto like a lightning bolt, and thanks to everyone who showed up, we raised an incredible $100,000 for We Care! That’s right – one hundred grand to help send kids with disabilities to fully accessible camps across Canada. Now that’s how you make a difference!
The atmosphere was electric! Guitars cranked up, drums pounding, the scent of Free Poutine filling the air, Major League Eating was back for the first time since 2019, tons of games and entertainment…but the real highlight?! The Ryan Smolkin Memorial CEO Challenge, where corporate execs ditched their suits and went head-to-head in a two-minute, all-you-can-eat Poutine showdown. It was wild, it was fun, and it was all for a great cause.
I’m beyond thrilled with how everyone came together this year. Smoke-A-Palooza is all about bringing people together for a good time and an even better cause, and this year’s event was nothing short of legendary. Raising $100,000 is a game[1]changer. It means more kids get to experience the joy and freedom of camp, making memories and gaining skills that’ll last a lifetime. That’s the power of Rock n’ Roll, Poutine, and a community that cares.
