Robert Kreis, owner of Winnipeg Chem-Dry, was honored with the company’s pinnacle award, naming his local business the 2018 Canada Franchise of the Year. Franchisees selected for Chem-Dry Franchise of the Year represent the best of the best in the system, from over 65 Chem-Dry® locations across Canada.
Chem-Dry, the world’s largest carpet and upholstery cleaning franchise system, honored Kreis at the company’s annual convention held recently in San Diego, CA. He was recognized as the company’s best brand operator and franchise leader in Canada, receiving outstanding marks across award categories including leadership, support, and overall service excellence as a Chem-Dry operator. The Winnipeg operator was honored for lifting his local presence in a way that has strengthened the Chem-Dry brand and supported the success of his fellow franchisees.

One of the key factors contributing to Kreis’ recognition has been his commitment to building strong relationships. He consistently looks for new ways to better serve his customers and expand his efforts with innovative marketing initiatives to find and develop even more long-term customers.
Having begun his career with Chem-Dry in 1997, Kreis says he was looking for a way to become more involved in his community and to professionally network. He loves running his own business and is constantly striving to improve his business and how he markets it, including creating his own residential and commercial marketing materials to reach new customers.
