With International Nurses Day (May 12) only days away, Laser Clinics Group and its Canadian operation, Laser Clinics Canada, have embarked on a campaign to recognize and celebrate the contributions of nurses within its network. Starting today, the company will run a social media competition to have their followers nominate someone who demonstrates the qualities we value in our Nurse community – Compassion, Care & Commitment, and will be sharing gratitude-infused stories related to its nurses. It will also offer its nurses access to educational workshops on improving the connection with their clients, and a special thank you gift, accompanied by a personal message from its CEO, Neil Lake.
“Nurses play a pivotal role in the care, services and innovation we offer our clients, which is core to our brand, values and growth in Canada,” says Toby Milton, Managing Director for Laser Clinics Canada. “This is a great opportunity to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of nurses within our network.”
Across its network, which spans four countries and more than 200 clinics, Laser Clinics employs more than 325 registered nurses who take the time to educate clients about treatment options and post care, ensuring informed decision-making and optimal results for each individual. Support, education and growth opportunities play an important part in the company’s promise to nurses.
“Nurses bring a unique blend of clinical expertise, patient-centered care and ethical integrity to the field of aesthetics, making them invaluable assets to businesses operating in this sector, we are pleased to be able to recognize the important work they do for our clients and business” says Kathryn Bran RN, Group Head of Inject & Body BN, Grad Dip Peri-Op, MBA.
Laser Clinics Canada is expected to grow 23 clinics over the next three years. Each clinic is offered as a 50/50 franchise co-ownership opportunity. Registered Nurses with experience in medical aesthetics, interested in running their own business are prime candidates for clinic co-ownership.
“Right from the get-go, we make it clear to our nurses that we’re committed to their progression and wellbeing, whether it be through individual development plans and mentoring programs or franchisee opportunities and access to industry meetings, events and training,” continued Milton. “Especially in light of our growth plans, we will do everything we can to attract nurses to our clinics and keep each one fulfilled and rewarded.”
With the medical aesthetics industry expected to grow 14 per cent annually through to 2026, cosmetic nursing and the field of aesthetics have become dynamic, flexible and rewarding career pathways for Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.
“At Laser Clinics, we foster progression within our network of nurses at every step, from individual development plans and preceptorship/mentoring programs to franchisee opportunities and ongoing access to industry meetings, events and training”, continued Bran.
