Weight Watchers International, Inc. has announced that Kevin O’Brien has been appointed President of Weight Watchers Canada, Ltd. In this role, O’Brien will oversee all Canadian business operations, including meetings and digital products and programs. O’Brien will report to Stacey Mowbray, President of the Americas.
Mowbray commented, “Kevin brings more than 20 years of management, strategic consulting and commercial leadership experience to Weight Watchers. His operational expertise combined with his ability to motivate teams across functions make Kevin a strong leader as we continue our focus on providing members in Canada with a seamless, personalized experience.”
Most recently, O’Brien was Chief Client Officer of Aeroplan at Aimia, a global data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics company, where he drew on his deep knowledge of loyalty, data analytics and marketing to help clients experience Aeroplan’s skills and assets effectively. In prior roles at Aimia, O’Brien shaped Aeroplan’s commercial and P&L leadership as Chief Commercial Officer.

O’Brien started his career with Mercer Management Consulting, and then went on to establish Diesel Think Tank, which was later purchased by Secor Group. O’Brien is a graduate of the Ivey Business School.
