KINTON RAMEN, a ramen brand, has successfully transitioned from a single standalone eatery in Toronto to becoming an industry leader in the culinary scene across Canada and in part in the US, accomplished through a strategic combination of corporate expansion and franchising initiatives.
“Our corporate expansion has proven successful,” says Karalyn White, Senior Director, Franchising at Kinka Family, the parent company of KINTON RAMEN. “We’re enthusiastic about intensifying our franchising efforts and assembling a network of dedicated entrepreneurs committed to maintaining the quality and experience of KINTON RAMEN.”
With 10 robust franchise locations already in operation, Kinka Family is now expanding the reach of the KINTON RAMEN brand into other Canadian markets. There are 10 additional franchises currently under construction in Southwest Ontario, the Golden Horseshoe and throughout British Columbia that are slated to open by year’s end. The collective count of corporate and franchise locations will increase to more than 50 storefronts in the next 12 months.
The restaurant group has also recently signed an Area Representative agreement in Albert for 12 units – with some slated to open in early-2025.
Kinka Family is now targeting area representatives for Quebec, the Maritimes and the United States. In existing Canadian markets, select regions are still available for single-unit or multi-unit franchisees.
KINTON RAMEN will be represented at the Toronto Franchise Expo in September and the International Franchise Expo in New York City at the end of May.
